Compared to its predecessor, the iCarsoft POR V2.0, the POR V3.0 comes with a multitude of additional features, including oil service reset, brake reset (SBC Reset), brake bleeding, injector coding, and diesel particulate filter reset (DPF Reset). This diagnostic tool has been specifically designed for PORSCHE vehicles to provide advanced functions and full access to all control units. Furthermore, it can be universally used to access the engine control unit of various vehicle brands via OBD2 and can clear the orange engine warning light for all brands. The iCarsoft POR V3.0 enables comprehensive diagnostics on all control units installed in the vehicle, offering a FULL ECU Diagnosis. In contrast, conventional OBD2 diagnostic devices only provide access to the engine control unit and can only clear faults when the orange engine warning light is active. The iCarsoft POR V3.0, on the other hand, grants access to nearly all control units, including the engine, ABS, airbag, and transmission, providing a wider range of diagnostic functions.
The iCarsoft POR V3.0 can access virtually all control units installed in the vehicle, including the engine and transmission control units, ABS, airbag, instrument cluster, diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF), electronic throttle control (ETC) adaptation, EPB park brake reset, steering angle sensor calibration and coding, injector coding, brake bleeding (SBC), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) activation, air suspension calibration, transmission adaptation, display of live data (e.g., temperature readings, air mass, engine RPM, fuel system status), service interval reset, warning light reset, as well as reading and clearing generic and manufacturer-specific fault codes.
The iCarsoft POR V3.0 has the capability to access the engine control unit of vehicles from 2001 (gasoline) and from 2004 (diesel) via OBD2. Additionally, you can use this diagnostic tool to view live data during operation, including fuel system status, intake air temperature, air mass, engine RPM, vehicle speed, O2 sensor position, coolant temperature, and much more. Live data can be accessed while driving and is extremely helpful in professional diagnostics. The device also allows you to store fault codes and live data for later review.
